Cycled into town TWICE today [because I forgot something] and got myself some toe clips because I can't afford that fancy SPD stuff. I then proceeded to set my fastest time over the 8 mile blast [three parks around Moseley and Kings Heath.] Coincidence? I think not.
Eating well today too: Wholewheat muesli, mushroom omelette on wholemeal toast, 2 apples, one cup Redbush tea, half a pint of soya milk, peanut butter on toast, two chicken breasts with half a cabbage.
Mini-workout in the afternoon: 85 push-ups, 75 tricep-dips, 80 sit-ups.
In the evening I attended a very sweaty martial arts lesson involving kicking and punching pads, sparring and more push-ups than I care to remember.
Feeling rather fit but I'm considering having a rest day tomorrow: when I climbed off the bike today my feet, legs, ass and hands were aching badly.
